School of Journalism and Mass Communication Apparel
Process:
Every year, students in UW-Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communications (SJMC) create apparel and merchandise for the college.
My Role:
I lead the team of designers tasked with creating the graphic, came up with the original concept of incorporating Vilas Hall (the building that houses the school) into the design, and created the illustration.
Outcome:
The graphic was printed on stickers, sweatshirts, and other merchandize. The sale of these products helped raise the $12,000 needed to produce CURB magazine.
Additionally, this design was so successful that I was later commissioned to make a version of the design for the SJMC 2020 graduation.
